This first meeting on Monday, July 8th will to gather the individuals responsible for such awesome resources. This will be an opportunity for you all to ask me any questions you have, voice your needs (1 table, 2 chairs included), meet each other, and Register ($20).
Are you a baseball fanatic or techie looking for an opportunity to demonstrate your skills? Then you are in for a real treat as Baseball Hack Day (BHD) gears up for their 7th year! On Saturday March 9th, creative minds come together and see what cool projects can be created within a limited time.The project could be (but is not limited to) a tool, simple web app, mobile app, website, or data visualization. There is no cost to attend and participate in the event, but there are limited spots available, so we encourage you to book early!
The full-day phenomenon will include breakfast, lunch and a bevy of snacks. We will also end with an award ceremony to present the winning project. Designers, developers, statisticians, marketers, and baseball enthusiasts alike are welcome!

Hands-On Technology Education (HOTE) will have a significant presence at the 2019 Petco Park Science & Engineering Festival (Saturday, 3/2/19) and we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us interact and demo STEAM education activities to kids ages 7 – 13! All volunteers participating should be prepared to commit to at least one 2-hour,shift during the event. A Pre-EXPO Staff/Volunteer Training & Mixer will be held on Friday, 3/1/19 from 6:15pm-8:15pm at Dave & Buster’s (Mission Valley). We will go over the EXPO day logistics, demo some of our activities and fellowship with other HOTE staff & volunteers. Appetizers & Refreshments will be served!

The registration is closed for students, but we still need technical volunteers to assist the students with building and designing the robots. The Robotics Program will take place on the campus of University of San Diego on Saturday, 12/15/18 and mentors are needed any time between 10am-5pm.
