Five Days of Gratitude

This week long celebration will honor Jasmine L. Sadler’s five years in business, as well as welcoming her into full-time entrepreneurship starting Monday, November 18th!
The festivities will culminate with the STEAM Leaders Summit and the Black Unity Holiday Soiree on Saturday, November 23rd.
Purchase Tickets Today!

Day 1: Keep it CONNECTED! Tell me how we met.
w/ Dree Berry of @SDBlackProfessionals

I’m originally from Detroit with my parents from Alabama and Mississippi. I’ve been living in San Diego for 7 years now and you all have helped me create my family away from family! I have church family, dance family, STEM family, and San Diego Black Professionals “meetup” family who I do life with. I’ve always been curious about the responses I’d receive when asking this: please drop me a note or comment on How We Met!

Day 2: Keep it HONEST! Leave a recommendation.
w/ Felena Hanson of Hera Hub

Welcome back to Day 2! You have all been part of my journey and I am so grateful that you are here with me to Celebrate 5 years in business and the launch of my new brand Jas:Maven. One success was being honored with the Hera Hub STEAM Trailblazer Award. Another win was the Black History in Motion event for Black History Month with several African American Employee Resource Groups.

However long or short, please leave me a Google review, Facebook review, or LinkedIn Recommendation if you’ve worked with me in any capacity and I’ve left a positive impression on your life.

Day 3: Keep it HOT! Ask a STEAM related question on the virtual panel.
w/ Courtney Dade of CSD Marketing and Consulting & Caleb with Curls

Yesterday, some of you mentioned that we first met after seeing me on a panel or a presentation. The STEAM Collaborative exists to exponentially increase equity in STEAM Education. I often have time for Questions, and usually get pretty interesting ones like “What is the coolest job you’ve had?” What is one question you would ask me if you and your child were in the audience for Q&A?

Day 4: Keep it REAL! Provide your unique solutions for problems you see in the community.
w/ Chef Geoff Cole of Admirals Experience

There are so many forums, surveys and focus groups to talk about problems in the community. Jas:Maven is one solution that brings you together with The Right People to have everyone achieve their goals. To the many problems facing inequity and keeping us segregated, what is your solution?

Day 5: Keep it MOVING! Join the Five Days of Gratitude Donation Challenge! Funds go directly to programming that support and impact under-served communities.
w/ Cory Morrison, Financial Planner

This has been an amazing five days together! Your responses have been thoughtful, uplifting, and authentic. Thank you for your honesty and just being you. On this final day of gratitude I’d like to humbly ask your support for continuing the conversation and taking action for improved education and unity experiences. If you would like to support The STEAM Collaborative or Jas:Maven please click to see the donation levels and directly see us pay it forward to impact others.

Happy 5 Year Anniversary!

Hello Family! Five years ago today, September 12, 2014, I officially became a CEO! Many of you have been there with me every step of the way from when I started tutoring math out of my apartment. Then, to planning events and speaking on the importance of diversity in Technical education from an Artistic perspective with The STEAM Collaborative. On to learning more about business through graduating my MBA program with a 4.0 and as Student of the Year. Today, I have the honor to officially launch my new Social Brand, Jas:Maven, specializing in Connecting the Right People. Thank you God for giving me the vision that is much greater than this and for ordering every step along the way! Thank you family, friends, and collabors for your support as I continue to serve you and pay it forward.

With Love, Jasmine @theSTEAMcollab @theJasMaven

Friends/Educators/STEM-enthusiasts,
My company (Hands-On Technology Education!) is looking to hire additional STEM instructors for our 2018 activities (after-school programs, workshops, summer camps).

An enormous amount of planning has been done so that we can reach our goal of interacting with 400+ students in the 2018 calendar year, but the plan is contingent upon us finding more qualified teachers to help us facilitate our Mobile Technology programs!

If you know of anyone who would be interested in getting involved with cutting-edge, K-12 STEM education, please have them check the flyer attached to this e-mail as well as the job posting we placed on Indeed:

Also if you have any particularly strong references, please let them know they can e-mail me directly in addition to applying on Indeed 🙂
