Teen Expo Lunch at Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside

Hello everyone,

I hope all is well and thank you for continuing to work collectively to support S.T.E.M.  Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside is offering a teen expo lunch at Oceanside High School to look at ways in which to broaden the student’s ideas of the plethora of careers beyond high school.  The intent is to open their eyes to higher education opportunities, entry level careers, military, and higher levels of management/business etc.

If you, your organization, or you know of an organization that might be a great fit for this teen expo please pass on the vendor information attached and flyer.  We look forward to exposing these students to the kaleidoscopes of opportunities especially in the S.T.E.M.careers.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for all that you are continuing to do for promoting S.T.E.M. to our younger female generations.

Hands-On Technology Education is Hiring

Friends/Educators/STEM-enthusiasts,
My company (Hands-On Technology Education!) is looking to hire additional STEM instructors for our 2018 activities (after-school programs, workshops, summer camps).

Click the image to view their Flyer!

An enormous amount of planning has been done so that we can reach our goal of interacting with 400+ students in the 2018 calendar year, but the plan is contingent upon us finding more qualified teachers to help us facilitate our Mobile Technology programs!

If you know of anyone who would be interested in getting involved with cutting-edge, K-12 STEM education, please have them check the flyer attached to this e-mail as well as the job posting we placed on Indeed:

Also if you have any particularly strong references, please let them know they can e-mail me directly in addition to applying on Indeed 🙂
Thanks for your help!!!

Venue Space – La Jolla Library

We are so grateful for our network in San Diego and around the world.  Please read below if you are looking for a venue space for STEM/STEAM or something else!
I work with the La Jolla Library to organize a series of science workshops and lectures. We also have a biology lab to support workshops that gets little use during the week, but we have had students use the lab for science fair projects in the past. I would love to invite other groups that might need space to do lab experiments or classes to use this facility- doesn’t necessarily have to be biology, but that is mostly what we are set up for.
You can read more about it here:
Please feel free to share this information with any other science educators in San Diego who you think would be interested in this resource.
Best Regards,
Callen
